We believe that you have a part to play in making this church a great one! Each one of us has been gifted by God to serve others in one way or another. In serving others, not only do we discover God’s purpose for our lives but we become more like Jesus as Jesus Himself came to serve, and not to be served. In serving we are also able to grow a deeper relationship with God. In order for us to give, we must first receive. As we fill ourselves up with God, we are able to pour out more unto others in the House of God.

As soon as you arrive to Alive Church you’ll be greeted by our awesome starting point team! Our Starting Point team is dedicated to helping you get acquainted with Alive Church and making you feel right at home. They are your go-to team for any questions and inquiries related to our church!

Our ushering team works in conjunction with our Starting Point team. Their main purpose is to serve and help create an environment where everyone feels comfortable, taken care of, safe, and welcomed. As a team, their goal is to be strong, hard-working, and dedicated to serving the house of God.

Our security team helps ensure the safety and security of our members and visitors. Creating a safe and secure environment where people can worship and participate in activities without fear of harm. If you're a team player with a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to public safety, we want you on our team!

Our worship team is a community of worshippers dedicated to ushering in the presence of God and creating a prophetic atmosphere where God can speak to His people and refresh them. Together they are committed to glorifying God and allowing the Holy Spirit to move freely in our congregation as we praise and worship Him.

Our sound team is a group of dedicated volunteers skilled in mixing in-house & online broadcasts. Through their heart of worship, they flow together with the worship team to usher in the presence of God and help bring audio structure and support to all aspects of our church services and events.

Our media team is passionate about bringing the vision of Alive Church to life through one of the biggest communication platforms today, media. They are a team that’s dedicated and hungry to see God touch people’s lives through various media platforms. If they’re not hard at work you’ll find them having fun and building long-life friendships while doing so.

We believe children are a gift from the Lord! It is our desire to provide a safe, exciting environment where they can experience God and make great friends so when they leave they can’t wait for next week!

Youth Alive is our youth ministry. Our vision is to raise up youth who are spirit empowered, life-giving, and bring transformation to individuals, families, communities, and nations.

The vision and purpose of WOW31 is to empower every Christian woman to live the life of a Proverbs 31 woman; who is precious in the sight of God, cherished by her husband, honored by her children, and respected in the marketplace and ministry. This ministry seeks to help women fully understand and embrace their God-given design in order to unleash their fullest potential, to work alongside the men in their generation so that the Kingdom of God can be established.

In Alive Church, we believe that manhood and Christlikeness are synonymous. Our men’s ministry is all about helping men grow in their relationship with God and each other so that they can be the brothers, husbands, fathers, and leaders that God has destined them to be. We do this through our monthly meet-ups and quarterly events.

We believe that no one is meant to do life alone! That is why Connect Groups are at the very core of our DNA. In CHC, we grow larger through our Sunday gatherings and deeper in relationship with each other in a fun, and relevant environment. Connect Groups are the perfect avenue to get yourself plugged in and to build deeper relationships in an authentic, and powerful community. In Connect Groups we all have an opportunity to grow in our gifts and to edify each other and to have the support we need through the difficult times in life as well as a platform where we can share the wins we experience and to encourage others.

PASTORAL CARE

Our Pastoral Care ministry is compromised of several sub-ministries all dealing with the relational. You'll find assistance with everything from water baptisms to getting married. It is our mission to be of support as you journey through different seasons of life. Read below to find additional information for each department.

We believe the ordinance of baptism by immersion in water is commanded of all who repent and believe in Christ as their Savior. It represents having died with Christ and being raised with Him in newness of life. (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4)

Who can be baptized?

The two main qualifications for anyone to be baptized are:

1. Repentance and,
2. Faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

NOTE:

• All baptism candidates are required to attend a compulsory class on water baptism.

• All baptism candidates who have attended the Water Baptism Class will be issued with a certificate after they have been through the water baptism service.

Children are a blessing from the Lord. If you have made a commitment to raise your baby (aged 14 months and below) according to the Word of God, our pastors would love to pray a blessing over your bundle of joy.

iCare Pastoral Ministry seeks to provide pastoral care, spiritual guidance and emotional support during times of crisis or challenges in an individual’s life. iCare is a biblical-based ministry approach, focusing on understanding and helping to resolve the underlying issues that affect a person’s everyday life. It aims to minister freedom, inner healing, and restoration in accordance to biblical principles.

We also offer intensive issue-focused ministry sessions for a person who desires help in dealing with one issue/problem/topic that is affecting his life.

If a loved one (spouse, child, parent, sibling or grandparent) has passed on, we are here to comfort and support you. At the immediate family’s request, we will arrange pastoral support for the family and in conducting the funeral service.

Marriage is ordained of God and we desire to empower you and your future spouse with biblical and practical principles to enable you to have a fulfilling and successful marriage! Our pastors would love to meet, get to know, and walk through this journey with both of you.

To sign up for our marriage preparation program, please ensure both you and your future spouse:

• Are believers and have been attending Alive Church regularly for at least six months

• Consider Alive Church your home church

• Desire to put Christ in the center of your marriage and to follow His plan as a spouse.

Christian Education

In this module, we want to establish the foundations of the Christian faith. Whether you are a new believer or you have been a believer for many years, the foundation is very important in our walk with God. You will learn about God’s Plan for Salvation as accomplished by Jesus and our response to His plan. In this series, there will also be introduced to the Person of the Holy Spirit and how we are to relate to Father God. You will also understand the significance of Water Baptism and Baptism in the Holy Spirit.

The pursuit of God is the whole purpose of life. The Christian lifestyle is one of ever-deepening devotion to God. We will look into the Scriptures and learn how a Christian should relate to God on a daily basis. How do you come into God’s presence? Once you are in His presence, how should you commune with the Lord Jesus? This module will answer all these questions.

This is the second part of a two-part module. It expands on the biblical DNA of City Harvest Church in greater depth, from the Word of God. What is your mission in life? What is the primary purpose of Christ, and therefore the goal of a Christian? How should you live for Jesus? How could you become more like Him? How should you serve Him, especially in the context of a local church?

We are destined to live a life of victory in our world today. Having a proper understanding of what Jesus accomplished for us on the cross will help us position ourselves for victory in our lives. You will also learn to move in the power of God by waging effective Spiritual Warfare, and in areas like Divine Healing and Deliverance.

Embark on an exciting and supernatural journey as you learn about the “Charismata” and in particular, the nine supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit. You will learn how to receive and apply them. Discover and recognize the gifts that God has specially placed in your life to equip you for daily living and ministry. You will understand hindrances to living in the fullness of the Spirit, and learn how to live a powerful and supernatural daily life.

Our desire to dream is a gift from God!

This gift enables us to have a vision that guides our existence. For too many of us though, the dream has been quashed by religious thinking, dismissed by false humility, or snuffed out by failure. Although some of us are exhilarated by our dreams (and rightly so), many of us are scared, confused, or stressed out as we try to figure out how to make them happen. But the purpose God has for you is too glorious to go unfulfilled.

For each CHTC student, the dream looks different. Studying with us might actually be your dream (for now), or it could be a journey of wholly realizing what God’s purpose is for your life. Studying with us could be a time to build the skills you need to achieve that dream or maybe you’ll be connected with the very people who will help transition the dream into reality.

Whatever your situation looks like, you can be confident in our commitment to making the dream happen.
